The Gelderland, also known as the Gelderlander, is a warmblood horse which originated in the sandy, mid-eastern province of the same name in the Netherlands. Gelderland horses trace their ancestry to native mares of the Gelderland province who where crossed with Andalusian, Neapolitan, Norman, Norfolk Roadster and Holstein stallions. In the nineteenth century East Friesian, Oldenburg, Hackney and Thoroughbred blood was introduced. Gelderlanders were originally bred as utility horses, to work the land as well as provide transportation. Today, the Gelderland is an elegant carriage horse and also possesses talent as a show jumper. Its action is flowing and the breed has an effective high-stepping trot. 2, record 14, English, - Gelderland%20horse

The primary purpose of a stall guard is indeed to keep the horse from coming out of the stall. The stall guard or chain may be used to keep the animal in a stall for a short period or long time period.... However, utilizing stall guards and chains instead of solid stall doors will help to improve the air circulation in the barn. The guard is also easier to adjust to the individual horse than a solid or Dutch door would be. Providing a stall with a stall guard that allows a horse to look out may calm a nervous horse... Horses are usually social creatures, preferring to be in larger groups. Being able to look out of the stall and see other horses will be reassuring to the horse.... In addition, the stall guard can assist in training a horse.... Another use for stall guards is to display information or to make a show barn look classier. Owners of show horses or race horses frequently have stall guards customized with their logos and stable colors to enhance their business image.... Stall guards may also be used as a temporary method of separating horses from each other. For instance, a solid stall guard can be used in a stock trailer to separate a mother from her foal while traveling. 2, record 15, English, - stall%20guard

The designer [of a show jumping course] can choose from a wide range of jumps that fall into three main categories : uprights, spreads, and triples. Uprights are jumps with the elements placed one above the other. An example is the post and rail, which has poles placed one above the other between two posts. This jump can generally be made higher or lower by adjusting the rests or cups on to the posts. A spread in an obstacle set up so that the horse has to jump both height and width. Spreads include the well-known water jump, the double oxer(two sets of uprights with a hedge sandwiched between), and the hog's back(three parallel rails, with the middle rail higher than the other two). The most common triple is the triple bars, which has three poles on separate supports. The poles are set [at] different heights, with the lowest one at the front. The jumps looks a bit like a staircase. Combinations are two or more jumps placed so close together that the horse can take only one or two strides between each one. Three jumps is the maximum in a combination. 4, record 17, English, - pole

3, record 17, French, - barre

The pathogenesis of AIDS is dependent on the biology of HIV, e. g :"Trojan horse" mechanism-virus escapes recognition by replication inside monocytes, from where it can spread to other tissues and other hosts. Latency-Lentiviruses do not show true latency(unlike Herpes viruses or lambda) but do have the capacity to control the expression of their genome by means of virus-encoded trans-acting regulatory proteins(tat and rev). Antigenic variation-new variants continually arise. In other Lentiviruses such as CAEV, each new antigenic variant results in a flare up of disease. 1, record 26, English, - antigenic%20variant

Although Belgium is primarily known for its heavy horse breeds, it also produces the Belgian Warmblood. The Warmblood is bred distinctively as a show horse, excelling in dressage and jumping arenas.... The Belgian Warmblood stands around 16. 2 hands high. The head is alert and full of quality, mainly due to its Anglo-Arabian influence. Withers are well placed and the shoulders are of good riding type. The body is compact with good depth and a back of perfect length. The horse is known to have correct legs and sound hooves. 1, record 27, English, - Belgian%20Warmblood
