The Training Project for Persons with Disabilities(National) is a one-year project that matches 100 persons with disabilities with training, jobs and career paths in a variety of horticulture areas, such as landscape construction, retail nursery garden centre worker and greenhouse technician. The project will launch in Winnipeg and be followed in Toronto, Halifax and Vancouver. Le Projet de formation pour personnes handicapées (Échelle nationale). Une centaine de personnes handicapées se verront offrir une formation, des emplois et des avenues de carrière dans divers métiers de l'industrie horticole, comme techniciens en aménagement paysager, techniciens de serres ou travailleurs de pépinières ou de centres de jardinage. Ce projet d'un an sera réalisé en étroite collaboration avec le Conseil canadien de la réadaptation et du travail (CCRT) et sera lancé à Winnipeg, avant d'être subséquemment mis en œuvre à Toronto, Halifax et Vancouver.
