The Lakehead Social Planning Council creates opportunities to respond to social issues. Established in 1963, the LSPC is a non-profit organization committed to building and strengthening the community. With over 35 years of service the LSPC has been instrumental in the development of the Volunteer Centre, Meals on Wheels, Handicapped Action Group Inc, HAGI Transit, Castlegreen Cooperative Options for Youth, William W.
