The sarod is a short-necked, fretless plucked lute from North India... The sarod has a wooden body, usually made of teak, with a parchment sound table, and a small secondary resonator at the top of the neck. An unusual feature of the sarod is that the neck is covered with a sheet of smooth, polished metal. As there are no frets on the sarod, the subtle pitch inflections central to Indian music are achieved by sliding the finger on the string as it is pressed down on the metal surface. Typically, the sarod has four or five main playing strings, three to five drone and "chikari" strings and up to 16 sympathetic strings. The strings are plucked with a plectrum, which is usually made of coconut shell. 2, record 1, English, - sarod

Using the term "rod marionette" helps differentiate this type of puppet from the all-string marionette, which is often referred to simply as a marionette. The rod marionette employs a metal rod attached to the centre of the puppet's head as its main control device. The arms and legs can be controlled by smaller rods, strings or a combination of the two. The rod marionette is considered to be the ancestor of the string marionette. 1, record 3, English, - rod%20marionette

The HDD construction method is used to install pipelines beneath obstacles-such as stream crossings, lakes, coastal bluffs and road or railroad crossings where conventional open trench pipe construction techniques would cause unacceptable environmental disturbance or resource impacts. Using the continuous bore hole method, a HDD tunnels beneath surface obstacles and then pulls pipeline back through the underground tunnel, leaving the surface undisturbed. The HDD installation involves four main steps : pre-site planning, drilling the pilot hole, expanding pilot hole by reaming, and pullback of a pre-fabricated steel pipe string. 3, record 4, English, - horizontal%20directional%20drilling

The IUPAC International Chemical Identifier (InChI, pronounced "INchee") is a textual identifier for chemical substances designed to provide a standard and human-readable way to encode molecular information and to facilitate the search for such information in databases and on the web. Developed by IUPAC [International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry] and NIST [National Institute of Standards and Technology] during 2000-2005, the format and algorithms are non-proprietary and the software is freely available under the open source LGPL license (though the term "InChI" is a trademark of IUPAC). 4, record 5, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Every InChI starts with the string "InCHI="followed by the version number, currently 1. The remaining information is structured as a sequence of layers and sub-layers, with each layer providing one specific type of information. The layers and sub-layers are separated by the delimiter "/"and start with a characteristic prefix letter(except for the chemical formula sub-layer of the main layer). 4, record 5, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier

Example: CH3CH2OH, ethanol. InCHI=1/C2H60/c1-2-3/h3H,2H2,1H3. 4, record 5, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 2 OBS
The InChIKey, sometimes referred to as a hashed InChI, is a fixed length (25 character) condensed digital representation of the InChI that is not human-readable. The InChIKey specification was released in September 2007 in order to facilitate web searches for chemical compounds, since these were problematical with the full-length InChI. 4, record 5, English, - international%20chemical%20identifier

5, record 5, French, - identificateur%20chimique%20international
