Mental fitness refers to the intentional practices and skills that help the mind function at its best. It's a proactive approach, more like physical training than physical health monitoring. Where mental health is a state of being, mental fitness is the deliberate strengthening of the mind. Mental fitness involves developing qualities such as resilience, focus, adaptability, emotional regulation, and cognitive flexibility. It's not about eliminating difficult emotions or striving for constant positivity. It equips people with the capacity to navigate challenges more effectively, recover from stress, and maintain clarity during pressure. Crucially, mental fitness is not the absence of mental illness. Someone managing depression, anxiety, or another condition can still practise mental fitness and benefit from it. 2, record 6, English, - mental%20fitness

3, record 6, French, - forme%20mentale

Macular translocation is a term used to describe any surgical procedure that involves the deliberate detachment of the retina with subsequent repositioning of the macula to a new location relative to the underlying retinal pigment epithelium. By moving the fovea away from abnormal pigment epithelium and/or choroid and repositioning it over more normal tissue, macular function can be stabilized or improved. 3, record 8, English, - macular%20translocation%20surgery
Record number: 8, Textual support number: 2 CONT
There are several different macular translocation techniques currently in use... The various forms of macular translocation may be broadly classified into three categories depending on the size of the retinotomy/retinotomies used :(i) macular translocation with 360° peripheral circumferential retinotomy...,(ii) macular translocation with large(but less than 360°) circumferential retinotomy..., and(iii) macular translocation with either small(self-sealing) or no retinotomy/retinotomies, with or without chorioschleral infolding or outfolding... The rationale of macular translocation is that moving the neurosensory retina of the fovea in an eye with recent-onset subfoveal CNV [choroidal neovascularization] to a new location before permanent retinal damage occurs may allow it to recover or maintain its visual function over a healthier bed of retinal pigment epithelium(RPE) —Bruch's membrane-choriocapillaris complex. 4, record 8, English, - macular%20translocation%20surgery

Healthism is roughly the(pervasive and penetrating) ideology according to which people are socially obligated to prioritize and value health and "healthy living" over other goals and without exception... Under healthism, people are expected to modulate and discipline multiple dimensions of their life through the lens of health : we should eat healthy food, maintain a healthy weight, build healthy relationships, which in turn sustain healthy boundaries, make sure to keep a healthy attitude towards life, buy products to ensure healthy skin, safeguard healthy finances, and so forth. If we make a decision that does not maximize health in a narrow physical sense, like eating a piece of chocolate cake or skipping a workout, we are socially encouraged to justify that choice, not in terms of reasonable competing values, but in terms of our "mental health" or our need for "self-care. The same umbilicals allow the fuel to be drained safely if a launch is aborted. Each arm is 13 m [meters] long and weighs 20 tonnes. One arm supplies liquid hydrogen at-250 ºC, the other supplies liquid oxygen at-180 ºC. Some papers selected single-arm space robots as actuators to touch and capture the target spacecraft in space. The in-orbit screw-driving manipulation by a single-arm space robot... can cause the rotation and translation of the target spacecraft. Since the target is a free-floating spacecraft that is not a fixed object on the ground, the target will have reactive translational motion and rotation when external forces and torques are applied to the target spacecraft during the screwdriving process. However, the translation and rotation of the target spacecraft can influence the control accuracy of the space robot, which may lead to failures during the screw-driving process. Unlike single-arm space robots, dual-arm space robots can use the cooperation of the two arms to accomplish more complicated space tasks effectively. Therefore, dual-arm space robots can be introduced to carry out the in-orbit screw-driving operation by the mission arm and maintain the position and attitude of the target spacecraft by the other arm. 1, record 57, English, - single%2Darm%20space%20robot

This reflex keeps us steady and balanced even though our eyes and head are continuously moving when we perform most actions. When we make a head movement, our eye muscles are triggered instantly to create an eye movement opposite to that of our head movement at the exact same speed to readjust the visual world, which, in turn, stabilizes our retinal image by keeping the eye still in space and focused on an object, despite the head motion. 8, record 64, English, - vestibulo%2Docular%20reflex

[The] notion of altered metabolic efficiency in response to changes in energy intake and/or body weight is strongly supported by the demonstration that in subjects who were deliberately made to maintain body weight at a level within 10 per cent above or 10 per cent below their habitual body weight for several weeks, there was an increase or decrease in 24-hour energy expenditure even after adjusting for changes in body weight and composition... 2, record 69, French, - besoin%20%C3%A9nerg%C3%A9tique

... one reason that bone health is difficult to maintain is that the skeleton is simultaneously serving two different functions that are in competition with each other. First, bone must be responsive to changes in mechanical loading or weight bearing, both of which require strong bones that have ample supplies of calcium and phosphorus. When these elements are in short supply the regulating hormones take them out of the bone to serve vital functions in other systems of the body. Thus the skeleton can be likened to a bank where we can deposit calcium or phosphorus and then withdraw them later in times of need. However, too many withdrawals weaken the bone and can lead to the most common bone disorder, fractures. 3, record 83, English, - bone%20health
