There was found to be an increased share of amorphous material and sandy grains in the water, followed by an occurrence of a higher number of psychrophilous bacteria(bioseston). An additional survey as well as an evaluation of operational procedures at the wells proved that hydraulic breaks caused by switching pumps on and off were responsible for that type of changes in the water quality. After accepting new measures in operational procedures at the wells, the exchange of pumps, and also partial measure changes in the municipal water supply system, the water quality was without defects.

Common NDT methods include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, and eddy-current testing. NDT is a commonly-used tool in forensic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, systems engineering, medicine, and art.

The Commercial Float Zone Furnace(CFZF) is a materials science crystal growth facility developed jointly by the Canadian Space Agency(CSA) and the German Space Agency(DARA). This payload will be launched in the SPACEHAB module on the Space Shuttle mission STS-77 by the NASA Office of Space Access and Technology. Twelve materials science experiments using four sample materials will be conducted by scientists from the three partner countries during this mission. The CFZF is designed to allow production of larger samples of industrially important material. The pure samples that will be produced are of great interest to the electronics industry; these samples will be large enough to allow evaluation of the space-based processes and to suggest improvements to around-based processing.
