Shibogama is a regional tribal council located in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada. Like many of the other regional councils, Shibogama is a member of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. On September 28th, 1984, the Shibogama Area Tribal Council was established at the Kasabonika Lake Band Office. The North Peace Tribal Council(NPTC) was incorporated in 1987 by the Beaver First Nation, Dene Tha’ First Nation, Little Red River Cree First Nation, Tallcree First Nations.
