Turkey Farmers of Canada(TFC) is a national organization representing Canada's registered turkey farmers. Originally formed under the Federal Farm Products Agencies Act in 1974 as the Canadian Turkey Marketing Agency(CTMA), the organization became known as Turkey Farmers of Canada in March 2009, in order to better reflect the organization's membership and business activity. The Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario is a corporate body reporting directly to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The Marketing Research and Intelligence Association(MRIA) is a Canadian not-for-profit association representing all aspects of the market intelligence and survey research industry, including social research, competitive intelligence, data mining, insight, and knowledge management. The MRIA was founded on November 21, 2004, after the membership of the three Canadian associations representing the industry voted overwhelmingly in favour of merging. Chicken Farmers of Canada(CFC) is a national organization, funded completely through farmer levies paid according to the amount of chicken marketed. We were established in 1978 under the Farm Products Agencies Act. CFC operates within a regulatory environment pursuant to the Federal-Provincial Agreement for Chicken signed by federal and provincial governments and the provincial chicken boards in July 2001. The mission is to build an evidence-based, consumer-driven Canadian chicken industry that provides opportunities for profitable growth for all stakeholders. Les Producteurs de poulet du Canada (PPC) sont une organisation nationale entièrement financée par les prélèvements perçus auprès des producteurs selon le volume de poulet qu'ils commercialisent. L'organisation a été créée en 1978, en vertu de la Loi sur les offices des produits agricoles. The Saskatchewan Canola Growers’ Association was formed in 1968 by rapeseed growers to promote research, production and marketing of rapeseed(now known for the most part as canola). It is strictly a producer organization and voting membership is available only to bona fide canola or rapeseed growers in Saskatchewan. It is a non-commercial and non-political organization. Their main purpose is to increase the profits from growing canola. They work closely with grain companies, crushers, the Canola Council of Canada and government agencies toward the improvement of grading, handling and marketing of canola. The Association encourages and sponsors research by the provincial departments of agriculture and universities, and sponsors courses for producers to increase their knowledge of Canada's grain handling and marketing systems. La Saskatchewan Canola Growers' Association a été fondée en 1968 par des colzatiers afin d'encourager la recherche et de favoriser la production et la commercialisation du colza (surtout appelé canola, de nos jours). L'Association regroupe exclusivement des producteurs et seuls les colzatiers reconnus de la Saskatchewan peuvent y adhérer à titre de membres ayant droit de vote. Cette association est avant tout un organisme apolitique et non commercial qui cherche principalement à accroître les bénéfices des producteurs de canola. Elle collabore étroitement avec les compagnies de grain, les huileries, le Conseil du canola du Canada et les organismes gouvernementaux en vue d'améliorer les techniques d'agréage, de manutention et de commercialisation du canola. L'Association favorise et subventionne des projets de recherches dans les universités et les ministères provinciaux de l'agriculture. Elle commandite des cours à l'intention des producteurs pour que ceux-ci puissent enrichir leur connaissance des réseaux canadiens de manutention et de commercialisation du grain.
