Harps first appeared around 3000 B. C. [before Christ] in Mesopotamia and Iran. They were arched harps, probably developed from hunter's bows, and the body was made of one piece of wood. A thousand years, later, around 2000 B. C., a new type was conceived when two pieces of wood were joined at right angle, one drilled into the other. The result was the angular harp... Harp designers waited millennia before taking the next logical step : connecting the two extreme ends of the angular harp with a long rigid pillar. When they did,..., it became the frame harp(also known as the "pillar harp"), a more rigid structure that allows higher string tension and more strings. 2, record 1, English, - frame%20harp

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Mesopotamia was the name of a region in ancient history; it can still be located on modern maps though the region now extends over Iraq, Iran, Syria and Turkey. Literally, "Mesopotamia" means "a region between rivers". 3, record 4, English, - Mesopotamia
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 OBS
Mesopotamia is a lower region between two rivers, a kind of "river valley". Nevertheless, it is incorrect to say "Mesopotamia River Valley" because there is no river of that name making "the valley of Mesopotamia River" impossible, and because Mesopotamia is not only of a valley type of land. 3, record 4, English, - Mesopotamia

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 OBS

2, record 6, French, - Babylone
