A second type of subtropical cyclone is a mesoscale low originating in or near a frontolyzing zone of horizontal wind shear, with radius of maximum sustained winds generally less than 30 miles. The entire circulation may initially have a diameter of less than 100 miles. These generally short-lived systems may be either cold core or warm core. 1, record 1, English, - warm%20core

The Mid-Ocean Dynamics Experiment(MODE), carried out between March and July of 1973, was a collection of twelve experimental and theoretical scientific projects performed simultaneaously. Using different instruments to measure the same phenomena from dissimilar views, the project explored the role of mesoscale eddy motions in the dynamics of general oceanic circulation. The collection primarily consists of correspondence, notes, meeting minutes, proposals, strategy statements, and reports from the working files of various project members. 3, record 4, English, - Mid%2DOcean%20Dynamics%20Experiment
