Intermediate-level waste contains higher amounts of radioactivity and some requires shielding. It typically comprises resins, chemical sludges and metal fuel cladding, as well as contaminated materials from reactor decommissioning. It may be solidified in concrete or bitumen for disposal. Generally short-lived waste(mainly from reactors) is buried in a shallow repository, but long-lived waste(from fuel reprocessing) will be disposed of deep underground. 7, record 4, English, - intermediate%2Dlevel%20waste

The UNGG(Uranium Natural Graphite Gaz) is an obsolete design of nuclear power reactor developed by France. It was graphite moderated, cooled by carbon dioxide, and fueled with natural uranium metal. It was developed independently of and in parallel to the British Magnox design, and to meet similar requirements. The main difference between the two designs is the fuel cladding material, which was magnesium-zirconium alloy in the UNGG, as opposed to magnesium-aluminium in the Magnox reactor. 1, record 5, English, - UNGG%20reactor
