The primary window consideration is its insulating-glass spacer-with traditional highly conductive metal spacers, which leads to lower perimeter edge temperatures. As used by arms engravers, the word ENGRAVE means the cutting of a design or motif into metal with a chisel or graver. It is not used to describe the decoration of non-metal objects such as wood, ivory, stone, or horn. These materials are carved, scrimshawed, or sculpted. Firearms and edge weapons decorated with mass production methods such as roll stamping, acid etching, or photo etching are often incorrectly referred to as "engraved". In some cases, this is due to a lack of knowledge, but sometimes it is a deliberate attempt to deceive the potential purchaser. The Jeff Flannery Engraving Company uses only chisel or graver on any work we represent as engraving. 1, record 28, English, - engrave

Zone melting. The term applied to a method of separation by fusion(and hence of purification) in which one, or a series of molten zones traverses a bar or rod of metal. The molten zone as it progresses through the bar melts impure solid at the forward edge(the impure melt has a lower melting point than the pure metal) and leaves purer metal solidified behind the rear edge. Perforated-Sleeve Type. The perforated-sleeve vaporizing burner has a metal base with concentric grooves. Each groove is enclosed by two cylindrical perforated-metal sleeves, which form a combustion chamber above each groove. At the start of operations, oil flows into the grooves and saturates strips of asbestos set on edge in the grooves. For ignition, the sleeves are momentarily tilted aside, and then a lighted match is applied to the asbestos wicks. The resulting flame eventually extends above the tops of the sleeves. This type of burner is used in kitchen ranges, space heaters, and small boilers. 1, record 54, English, - perforated%2Dsleeve%20vaporizing%20burner

Zone melting. The term applied to a method of separation by fusion(and hence of purification) in which one, or a series, of molten zones traverses a bar or rod of metal. The molten zone as it progresses through the bar melts impure solid at the forward edge(the impure melt has a lower melting point than the pure metal) and leaves purer metal solidified behind the rear edge. Thus the impurities tend to concentrate in the melt and move towards one end of the bar. 1, record 55, English, - bar%20of%20metal
