The New York Mercantile Exchange(NYMEX) is the world's largest physical commodity futures exchange located in New York City. Its two principal divisions are the New York Mercantile Exchange and the New York Commodities Exchange(COMEX) which were once independent companies but are now merged. The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. is currently a large private company. The New York Mercantile Exchange handles billions of dollars worth of energy products, metals, and other commodities being bought and sold on the trading floor and the overnight electronic trading computer system. The prices quoted for transactions on the exchange are the basis for prices that people pay for throughout the world. In 1933, the COMEX was established through the merger of four smaller exchanges : the National Metal Exchange, the Rubber Exchange of New York, the National Raw Silk Exchange, and the New York Hide Exchange. On august 3, 1994, the NYMEX and COMEX finally merged under the NYMEX. Now, the NYMEX operates in a state of the art trading facility and office building with two trading floors in the World Financial Center in downtown Manhattan.

The Mississippi Air National Guard(ANG) was able to enclose an entire KC-135 aircraft in the same floor area as a traditional "tailout" nose dock hangar by shaping the hangar to fit the shape of the aircraft, while reducing building costs and saving energy.... Aircraft hangars have always been "box shaped" structures to house aircraft. Doors have traditionally been of the metal sliding, metal canopy or metal bi-fold lifting type. When newer longer aircraft were made to fit into an existing aircraft hangar, the usual design treatment was to construct an aperture in the hangar door and let the aircraft tail stick outside the hangar, exposing the tail to the outside elements(a nose dock).

These deposits are called diagenetic after the term diagenesis, which defines all physiochemical reactions(including compaction and recrystallization) that occur in a sediment after it has been deposited. When the scale floor indicates that the appropriate garner is empty, the valve at the bottom of the unloading pit is activated. The grain discharges onto a conveyor belt and is transferred to the boot of the receiving leg. En route it passes under a large electro magnet which removes all ferrous metal from the grain. An automatic sampler, operating under the supervision of the Grain Commission's Inspection Division, takes a representative sample of each carload before it reaches the receiving leg.
