The pattern approval tests must be carried out under the following conditions, unless otherwise specified : a) the meter must be fitted with its cover; b) in the case of drum type indicating devices only the most rapidly turning drum must be engaged(except, possibly, for the starting test; c) before any tests are made, the voltage circuits must have been energized for at least 1 hour. The measurement current must be set progressively to increasing or decreasing values, and the current circuits shall be energized at each value for a sufficient time to obtain thermal stability, with corresponding constant speed of rotation... 1, record 1, English, - starting%20test

1, record 1, French, - essai%20de%20d%C3%A9marrage

The icing rate meter... is a very sensitive and accurate instrument which takes continuous measurements of every type of atmospheric icing.... Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 2, French, - givrom%C3%A8tre
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT

Reading the light metering through the camera lens with the aperture set at the position that it’ll be at when the photo is taken. 4, record 3, English, - stopped%20down%20metering
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Fortunately, you can still meter using the stopped-down metering approach on most cameras. By pressing a depth-of-field button, the camera is placed into stopped-down metering mode too. The lens is stopped down to the taking aperture automatically on some adapters. On T-mount and other purely mechanical mounts, you may have to turn the aperture ring to the desired taking aperture. In either case, the camera is now metering at the actual stopped down aperture. You can set the shutter speed and aperture as desired, based on your meter reading. 2, record 3, English, - stopped%20down%20metering

Maps of mean maximum ventilation coefficients generally display isopleth patterns that are quite similar to those of the maximum mixing heights. The highest ventilation coefficient values generally occur in summer(range 500-600 [square meter]/s) ;shoreline locations experience relatively low values in summer and the reverse in winter. Areas with meteorological potential for pollution are considered to be those with ventilation coefficient values of not more than 6000 [square meters]/s. During summer, such conditions are found in northern Canada(over most of the Arctic) as well as in the coastal zones, but during winter, such is the case for almost all of Canada. 1, record 4, English, - mean%20maximum%20ventilation%20coefficient
