The reduced carrier single sideband system(RC-SSB). During the Technical Committee Meeting in 1968 of the European Broadcasting Union(EBU) a paper was presented describing the principle of reduced carrier transmission in MF broadcasting. Philips’ Telecommunicatie Industrie BV developed a receiver working with a carrier reduction of 14 dB; this carrier was filtered from the output of the intermediate frequency(IF) stage and clipped. 1, record 1, English, - reduced%20carrier%20single%20sideband%20system

Au cours de sa réunion de 1968, le Comité technique de l'Union européenne de radiodiffusion (UER) a étudié un document exposant les principes de la transmission à porteuse réduit en radiodiffusion à modulation de fréquence.
