4, record 1, French, - climat%20r%C3%A9gional

The U. S. Army Soldier Systems Center... envisions a future smart uniform that "will be able to sense the warrior's surroundings and change color to blend in with the environment, or detect and repel chemical agents. "The uniform could also act as a "data-bus, "passing data and information from a wrist-mounted weapon to a helmet-mounted display.... These smart uniforms might also eventually possess micro-climate subsystems to keep the soldier warm in the cold, and cool in a hot environment. They could also have an embedded "physiological status monitoring system, "to keep track of the soldier's physical health. The data could be transmitted to medics or unit commanders, to watch out for dehydration and other potentially serious medical conditions. 2, record 2, English, - smart%20uniform

There were also gardens of strictly architectural design--huge walled enclosures with corner towers, a central palace, regularly disposed avenues, and tanks of water. Deer and pheasants were kept in these gardens, which combined the quality of hunting park and of hortus conclusus, or closed garden .... 2, record 4, English, - walled%20garden
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Walled gardens were an important feature of the historic demesnes in Great Britain and Ireland. They were built to provide a favourable micro-climate for fruit, vegetable and flower production, and were staffed by large teams of highly skilled horticulturalists. At the beginning of the 20th century, however, walled gardens were in decline. With increasing labour costs, and the ready availability of fresh produce, it was no longer economic to maintain self sufficiency within an estate. A further blow was dealt by the two world wars, and the attendant social and economic changes. 1, record 4, English, - walled%20garden

1, record 4, French, - jardin%20ferm%C3%A9
