The National Imagery and Mapping Agency(NIMA) provides timely, relevant, and accurate imagery, imagery intelligence, and geospatial information in support of military, national-level, and civil users. NIMA was established on October 1, 1996 as a Department of Defense(DoD) combat support agency.
