Mirror lenses have no diaphragm; light transmission is regulated by filters built into the rear of the lens, or by varying the shutter speed. Because of its reflecting design and the different types of mirrored surfaces used to transmit the light, most mirror lenses will transmit up to a full f-stop less light to the film plane than their rated speed. 1, record 1, English, - mirror%20lens

1, record 1, French, - objectif%20catadioptrique

Mirrored Lenses-FL(Flash) : A coloured coating applied to the outside of the lens. The coating can be applied over any base colour lens, i. e. vermillon, amber, grey. Due to their reflective properties, any mirrored lens will appear darker since it will reflect a certain amount of light trying to reach the eye. A mirrored lens will also add an extra buffer against glare. Mirrored or "Flash" lenses are available in a variety of different colours. Unless otherwise marked, these lenses use Vermillon as a base colour. The following colours are available as a Flash coating : Gold Flash, Amber Flash, Bollé 100 Flash; Blue Flash; Silver Flash; Green Flash; Gun Flash. 1, record 2, English, - flash%20lenses

[...] LOUBSOL pour tous les sports d'action : bateau, char à voile, escalade, a conçu un bandeau panoramique haute performance avec 3 écrans interchangeables : fumé traitement miroir, ambre traitement flash miroir et incolore traitement UV 400. 1, record 2, French, - verres%20miroirs
