OBS

A traditional terminal defense system oriented toward city defense. It used several phased-array radars, including the Perimeter Acquisition Radar(PAR) and the Missile Site Radar(MSR), and a high-acceleration, nuclear-armed reentry interceptor, the Sprint. This system was studied in the mid-1960s and represented a substantial advance over Nike-Zeus. Components of the system were developed and tested.
