Healthism is roughly the(pervasive and penetrating) ideology according to which people are socially obligated to prioritize and value health and "healthy living" over other goals and without exception... Under healthism, people are expected to modulate and discipline multiple dimensions of their life through the lens of health : we should eat healthy food, maintain a healthy weight, build healthy relationships, which in turn sustain healthy boundaries, make sure to keep a healthy attitude towards life, buy products to ensure healthy skin, safeguard healthy finances, and so forth. If we make a decision that does not maximize health in a narrow physical sense, like eating a piece of chocolate cake or skipping a workout, we are socially encouraged to justify that choice, not in terms of reasonable competing values, but in terms of our "mental health" or our need for "self-care. 2, record 3, French, - bicouche%20lipidique

Molecular endocrinology and gene expression. Functional organization of the estrogen receptor and its involvement in mammary carcinogenesis. Estrogens and estrogen antagonists represent a group of clinically useful hormones and drugs that act through a nuclear receptor to modulate the transcriptional activity of a set of genes involved most notably in female reproductive physiology. The receptor for estrogens belongs to a superfamily of intracellular receptors that mediate the effects of the other gonadal and adrenal steroids, retinoids, thyroid hormones, and vitamin D. Common features shared by the intracellular receptors include organization into discrete functional domains responsible for ligand recognition, sequence-specific DNA binding, nuclear localization, and activation of transcription. 1, record 16, English, - sequence%20specific%20DNA%20binding%20ligand

The amount of oil pressure directed to the actuator is controlled by two separate controllers : the density controller and the differential pressure controller. The density controller senses the temperature and pressure of the airflow in the engine intake. The differential pressure controller senses the difference between engine manifold pressure and the air pressure between the compressor and the throttle valve. When fully open, the waste gate valve routes the exhaust flow directly out the tailpipe, away from the turbine wheel. When fully closed, the waste gate valve routes the exhaust flow through the turbine wheel, thereby driving the turbine. During most stages of operation the controllers modulate the position of the valve to drive the turbine at the speed required to meet the engine power selection. The system is designed to work with no input from the pilot. 1, record 20, English, - density%20controller

Stations designed to measure minimum airflow only are an alternative to direct measurement and fan tracking techniques. Dynamic measuring stations are not full-sized, fixed area measuring stations, but rather are stations that measure velocity pressure between the damper blades, then compare the current damper position and velocity pressure to accurately calculate the airflow. These devices do not impose energy penalties on the supply fan because the velocity between the blades increases as the damper modulates towards the closed position. Commercially available dynamic airflow monitoring stations are factory-mounted low leak dampers that both modulate and calculate airflow. 1, record 24, English, - dynamic%20measuring%20station

1, record 30, French, - cascade%20de%20lymphokines

a compact dial gauge of limited accuracy for measuring differential pressures. The active element is a twisted bourdon tube with a flat magnetic armature attached which rotates when pressure is applied, thus changing the air gap between it and the sensing circuit, changing the inductance. The resultant signal is used to modulate a carrier voltage. 1, record 31, English, - magnahelic%20gauge

1, record 31, French, - manom%C3%A8tre%20diff%C3%A9rentiel
