2, record 1, French, - injection%20sandwich
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT

A casting technique whereby molten metal is thrust into a mold by centrifugal force. 2, record 2, English, - centrifugal%20casting
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The inertia forces of rotation distribute the molten metal into the mold cavities during the centrifugal casting, of which there are three categories : true centrifugal casting, semi-centrifugal casting, and centrifuging. The first two processes produce hollow cylindrical shapes and parts with rotational symmetry, respectively. In the third process the mold cavities are spun at a certain radius from the axis of rotation; the centrifugal force thus increases the pressure in the mold cavity. 3, record 2, English, - centrifugal%20casting

Parts made from partially crystalline engineering polymers should preferably not be made by hot runner injection moulding if a perfect surface finish is essential. Runners can be classified into two types, namely the cold runner and the hot runner. The mold temperature for the cold runner is similar to the mold temperature for the cavity. The material in the cold runner will eventually solidify, and be ejected with each cycle. The hot runner maintains the polymer at a melt temperature, either by insulation or by heating. This keeps the material fluid. Hot runners are not ejected with each cycle. 5, record 10, English, - hot%20runner%20injection%20moulding

In a modern injection molding machine, the pellets are conveyed forward within the barrel by a rotating screw, and melt as they go. The molten plastic is deposited at the forward end of the barrel, displacing the screw backward. When enough material has been plasticized, a hydraulic cylinder pushes the screw forward, forcing the molten plastic ahead of it through a nozzle, sprue, runners, and a narrow gate into a water-cooled mold cavity, where the molten plastic solidifies. 2, record 22, English, - injection%20machine

... flash is a by-product of extrusion blow molding and it must be provided for in the design of the mold cavity tooling. Where the flash will exit from the cavity, clearance or a flash pocket is created. The depth of this flash pocket is critical, particularly with large-diameter, thin-walled parisons. If too deep, the flash will not be adequately cooled and this may cause trimming problems. If too shallow, the flash will hold open the mold, creating a thick pinch-off that may also cause trimming problems. Dividing the cavity from the flash pocket is the pinch-off. 1, record 23, English, - flash%20pocket

Another process somewhat related to extrusion blow molding is the extrusion/molded neck process. Still used today by Owens-Illinois, this is a proprietary process that traces its roots to glass-blowing technology. It is unique in that the bottle neck finish is injection molded and the bottle body is extrusion blow-molded. In this process, the two halves of a neck finish cavity or neckring are mounted to an actuating head assembly, which intermeshes with the two halves of the blow-mold cavity. The process cycle begins with the main body mold cavity open and the neckring cavity closed. The actuating head assembly moves downward to contact the extrusion die head. When it is in position, extrusion pressure fills the neck section with plastic melt. After it is held for one to two seconds, the head assembly moves upward while, simultaneously, the parison is extruded. When the head assembly reaches the top of its stroke, the blow-mold cavity closes on the parison. The remaining steps of parison pinch-off, blowing, and part removal all follow conventional techniques. Although the production cycle is somewhat slow, the process offers the quality advantage of an accurately molded neck and the process advantage of a parison held at both ends. 1, record 40, English, - extrusion%20molded%20neck%20blow%2Dmolding%20process
