The Vancouver Rail Task Force(VRTF) was established in 1977, under the auspices of WESTAC(Western Transportation Advisory Council), when the Government of British Columbia, the British Columbia Railway, and the VJCRU recommended at the Vancouver hearings of the Grain Handling and Transportation Commission, that a Task Force be established to improve the rail transportation system in the Vancouver Area. Tomato ringspot nepovirus(TomRSV) infects small fruits and tree fruits. Coat and movement proteins of TomRSV are expressed coordinately via proteolytic processing of a polyprotein precursor at specific cleavage sites by a virus-encoded protease. Therefore the two cleavage sites involved in the release of the coat and movement proteins from the precursor polyprotein must be recognized at equal efficiency by the TomSVP protease.
