Hendrickson has unveiled an automatic trailer back-up alarm system for improved awareness of backward vehicle movement in areas of limited maneuverability and visibility.... With rearward trailer movement, the system activates a loud warning sound to help alert bystanders and other drivers in areas such as congested dock operations and near crosswalks and walkways that the vehicle is moving in reverse. A wheel-end direction sensor reads the ABS tone ring activating the alarm, a 97-decibel repeating pound pulse, after one-half of a reverse revolution of the tire. The alarm ceases two seconds after the trailer stops or immediately upon any forward movement. 1, record 3, English, - automatic%20trailer%20back%2Dup%20alarm%20system

An elementary and unschooled way of propelling oneself in the water : imperfect prone position, head out of the water facing straight ahead, arms alternately and nervously moving forward and backward under the water, away from the body and without a complete extension forward nor a full traction and pull along the body backward, legs beating in a bending-and-unbending motion of the knees rather than in an effective beat of the extended legs on the surface of the water. 2, record 7, English, - dog%20paddle
Record number: 7, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The unschooled way a human propels himself through the water. Children’s paddling is often more chaotic, with the arms alternately clawing at the water to move forward; breathing is irregular, legs thrashing and inconsistent. A more mature dog paddle can be rhythmic and steady, but the arms never go out of the water and the head is never submerged. Thus the stroke closely resembles a dog moving through the water. 3, record 7, English, - dog%20paddle
