3, record 7, French, - test%20de%20compression

stall regulation. The blades on a stall-regulated-WT [wind turbine] cannot be pitched. To achieve control of power captured above rated wind speed, the blades are carefully designed so that they progressively stall starting at the blade root and moving out towards the tip as the wind speed increases further. Stall-regulated WTs will respond much more quickly to gusts than pitch-regulated WTs(where mecanic pitch adjustments take finite amounts of time to effect), improving the power quality output by the WT above rated wind speed. 1, record 8, English, - stall%2Dregulated%20blade

Shaving the layers of the film from the emulsion takes practice and patience. An over anxious retoucher usually ends up with an uneven job, or worse yet a few deep gouges. Keep the blade in motion, moving with small strokes in one direction-never back and forth. After etching, apply retouching fluid to the emulsion if lead will be used. Care must be taken when applying the fluid to avoid lines of demarcation. When applying retouching fluid or "dope", be sure the fluid is either fresh or thin. Thick, tacky retouching fluid will create a dust problem. Artist turpentine of methanol are good thinners to add to thickened fluid. Again, handle all chemicals with caution. Apply the retouching fluid only within the facial area when working on b/w portraiture. 3, record 15, English, - retouching%20fluid

Blocking knife.... The blade is forged to an iron bar varying in length from 1 to 4 ft. This bar has a hook at one end, and a handle, often T-shaped, at the other. The hook engages with an eye-bolt fixed to a bench or stool to form a hinge. In operation, one hand holds the wood to be shaped, while the other, by moving the knife up and down, pares away the unwanted wood, using the bar as a lever. The longer [size]... is used by cloggers, brush, and by boot-last and boot-tree makers; the smaller sizes are used for shaping rake tines, tent pegs, wooden spoons, etc. 2, record 17, English, - bench%20knife
