The pushrod and a lever — called a slack adjuster — link the brake chamber to the brake assembly(which contains the brake drum or disc). When you press the brake pedal, the pushrod extends farther from the brake chamber, moving the slack adjuster forward. The motion of the slack adjuster transfers to the brake assembly, causing the brake shoes or pads to make contact with the brake drum or disc. 1, record 2, English, - brake%20chamber

1, record 2, French, - r%C3%A9cepteur%20de%20frein

Golf discs have little in common with the bulky freestyle Frisbees you’ve thrown at the beach. Each type of disc weighs about the same (generally between 150 and 180 grams, or 5 to 6 ounces), but golf discs are smaller in diameter and made of denser plastic, with a tendency to have a narrower edge for greater aerodynamic performance. The current world record toss stands at 712 feet. 2, record 4, English, - golf%20disc
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 CONT
The pressure of the moving air against the surface is inversely proportional to its speed, so that the net result is that there is a lower pressure on the top of the disc than on the bottom, thereby imparting the aerodynamic lift that helps the disc fly. A golf disc in this sense is a kind of airfoil. 3, record 4, English, - golf%20disc

In the indicating device of an integrating meter the first moving element(disc, numbered roller, etc...) which has the smallest scale value normally moves continuously during the course of measurement. However, this continuity of movement does not always occur in the indicating devices of some other integrating measuring instruments, e. g. cyclic operating heat meter, hydrometric vane in which the indicating device is actuated by discontinuous impulses. 1, record 6, English, - integrating%20meter
