A thermograph is a recording thermometer. Usually configured with a pen that records temperature on a revolving cylinder. The pen is at the end of a lever that is controlled by a bi-metal strip of temperature-sensitive metal which bends as the temperature changes. 5, record 9, English, - thermograph
Record number: 9, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The thermometric element is most commonly either a bimetal strip or a Bourdon tube filled with a liquid. In the first case the bimetal element has the form of a helical coil with one end rigidly fastened to the instrument and the other to the recording pen. In the second case the tube is made with an elliptical cross section so that an expression of the liquid caused by a temperature increase will cause the radius or curvature of the bend to increase, thus moving the instrument pen, which is fastened to the tip of the tube. A resistance thermometer and a thermoelectric thermometer may be converted into thermographs if provision is made to record their output. 6, record 9, English, - thermograph

"Flowing water" is any moving water confined to a well-defined channel. Flowing water results when the channel and its bottom are sloped, allowing the water to move in response to gravity. Streams, creeks, and rivers are natural examples of flowing water. It should be noted that flowing water does not include the category of falling water where water drops abruptly from a higher elevation to a lower one. Flowing water is best used in outdoor spaces as a kinetic element to express movement, direction, and energy. 2, record 27, English, - flowing%20water

(...), the MTD [Moving Target Detection] principle involves dividing up the entire radar coverage area into small range-azimuth cells-(...) called ’coherent processing intervals’(CPI). Eight pulses generated at a constant repetition frequency are assigned to each cell, and each return is subjected to Doppler filtering over a range of velocity values. The particular feature of MTD is its ability to measure the density of clutter and to detect the sudden presence of an additional element-such as an aircraft moving into a particular cell-even though it may have zero relative velocity on account of its tangential track. 1, record 35, English, - coherent%20processing%20interval

1, record 35, French, - intervalle%20de%20traitement%20coh%C3%A9rent
