Avec de la chance, il est possible, pendant quelques dizaines de secondes précédant le deuxième contact, de voir les «ombres volantes» (sorte de vagues d'ombres se déplaçant à grande vitesse). Ce phénomène d'origine purement atmosphérique est surtout visible sur les surfaces claires.

A dark, repeated and intermittent pattern originating from wind turbines, that is cast on homes and buildings when the sunlight passes behind the turbines’ rotating blades.

OBS

The effect produced by moving shadows is called "shadow flickering, ""shadow flicker" or "strobing" and it has been proven to be harmful to some people who then experience sensations of dizziness and a potential loss of equilibrium.

The apparent sizes and forms of landscape spaces change with each such seasonal change: bright colours advance, dull colours recede, changing apparent distances.
