The world's largest pilot plant for the capture of carbon dioxide(CO₂) from a conventional power station was opened in Denmark today. It is the first installation in the world to capture the CO₂ in the flue gases of a coal fired power station.... The pilot CO₂ capture unit, coordinated by the Institut Français du Pétrole(IFP), will be operated for two years to demonstrate a new technology on a scale large enough to ensure reliable industrial application. African, Caribbean and Pacific Island states that have established agreements with the European Community on economic and trade cooperation. Former colonies Common market members that therefore receive preferential treatment. After becoming independent, the new states decided to continue their association with the EEC. Une fois émancipés, les nouveaux États on décidé de poursuivre leur association avec la CEE et ont formé le groupe des États Africains et Malgaches Associés (EAMA). Estados de África, del Caribe y del Pacífico que han establecido con la Comunidad Europea un acuerdo de asociación económica y cooperación comercial. Estos países eran colonias de los miembros del Mercado Común, y por ello se les aplica un tratamiento comercial preferente. Una vez adquirida su independencia, los nuevos Estados decidieron continuar su asociación con la CEE, y así se formó el grupo de Estados Africanos y Malgaches Asociados, EAMA.
