The Amsler grid is a chart that is specifically designed to qualitatively analyze the disturbances of visual function that accompany the beginning and evolution of maculopathies. The charts are a series of lined and patterned grids that test the central visual field within 10 degrees of fixation where the plates are held at 1/3 of a meter from the eyes. Each square of the grid subtends [one] degree of visual angle, making the ability to define the location of small defects rather easy.... The Amsler grid test is quick and easy to administer. The patient is instructed to look at the central dot and asked if, in fact, he/she can see it. If not, the patient may have a central scotoma, and the examiner must query the patient regarding exactly what he/she "does" see. If the patient sees the dot, the examiner asks if the patient is aware that surrounding it are numerous squares. The examiner then asks the patient if any of the squares are distorted, missing, etc. 3, record 5, English, - Amsler%20grid%20test

Optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA) is a noninvasive technique that can detect blood flow signal in retinal and choroidal vessels using motion contrast. It compares the decorrelation signal(differences in the backscattered OCT [optical coherence tomography] signal intensity) between sequential OCT B-scans taken at the same cross-section; thus, yielding maps of vascular flow.... Numerous studies described how to automatically detect and classify retinal disorders(e. g., diabetic retinopathy [DR]). However, most of them relied on fundus images rather than on OCT images or OCT angiograms. Recent development in OCTA induced attempts to use advanced image processing in order to extract quantitative information that characterizes the vascular network in the retina from the angiograms. 3, record 6, English, - optical%20coherence%20tomography%20angiogram

Abortion access is a critical component of comprehensive reproductive health care; it is vital for maintaining bodily autonomy as well as promoting individual and community health, safety, and well-being. In the United States, approximately [one in four] people with the capacity for pregnancy will seek first trimester abortion care by the age of 45. Both medication and procedural abortions are safe, with complications being rare. Despite this, 89% of US counties do not provide abortion care, and thousands of people face numerous barriers each to access the care they critically need. These barriers can take the form of restrictive state or federal laws, financial limitations, religious prohibitions within certain health systems, and widespread stigma associated with being an abortion provider. 3, record 10, English, - abortion%20access

Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) is one of the so-called hyphenated analytical techniques. It is actually two techniques that are combined to form a single method for analyzing mixtures of organic chemicals. Gas chromatography separates the components of a mixture, and mass spectrometry characterizes each of the components individually. The combination of the two techniques allows for both qualitative and quantitative evaluations of a sample containing a number of organic compounds. The uses for GC-MS are numerous, including chemical, geological, environmental, and forensic research. 5, record 14, English, - gas%20chromatography%2Dmass%20spectrometry

A now integral part of the programmatic advertising process, real-time bidding(RTB) refers to the process of buying and selling ad impressions in real time. It is an automated auction that allows advertisers to bid on ad space from publishers on a cost per mille(CPM) basis. Real-time bidding allows multiple advertisers to bid on ad inventory before a website even loads, with the winning ad being instantly displayed. The entire process takes a millisecond. The benefits of real-time bidding are numerous for everyone involved. Real-time bidding is fast, efficient, and cost-effective. Permeability of cells, its nature and measurement from the point of view of mathematical biophysics.... In spite of the tremendous importance of cell permeability for several branches of cell biology, and in spite of the circumstance that numerous experiments have in the past decades contributed a very large array of facts to our knowledge in this field, a mathematical biophysicist still feels rather uncomfortable when confronted with the different contributions to the problem. Perhaps the most shocking thing in the whole situation is the following. Blubber... is composed of numerous fat cells [and is] greatly enriched in collagen and elastic fibers. This gives blubber a firm, tough, and fibrous character... 2, record 71, French, - fem

A continuous chart datum is a two-dimensional reference surface relative to a continuous vertical reference datum such as the [lowest astronomical tide(LAT) ] to [World Geodetic System]-84 ellipsoid model. It is realized by numerous hydrographic organizations around the world that the hydrographic vertical datum, such as a chart datum, now requires continuous treatment. 1, record 83, English, - continuous%20vertical%20reference%20datum
