To support the longer-term needs of Inuit regarding lands and resource management, Nunavut Implementation Training Committee(NITC) entered into an agreement with the Nunavut Arctic College for the development and delivery of the Inuit Resource Management Certificate Program. As a professional level accredited program of the College, this Program is designed to enable participants to develop skills and gain knowledge in specialized areas such as field inspection and lands management.

Pour répondre aux besoins à plus long terme des Inuits en matière de gestion des terres et des ressources, le Comité du Nunavut chargé de la formation pour la mise en œuvre (CNFMO) a conclu une entente avec l'Arctic College du Nunavut concernant l'élaboration et la prestation d'un Programme de certificat en gestion des ressources. À titre de programme accrédité de niveau professionnel, ce programme de certificat vise à permettre aux participants d'acquérir des compétences et des connaissances dans des domaines spécialisés comme l'inspection sur le terrain et la gestion des terres.

The mandate of the Nunavut Federal Council(NFC) is to promote and facilitate communications and cooperation among federal managers responsible for programs and services in Nunavut with departmental headquarters, regional offices and central agencies and, where appropriate, with the Government of Nunavut and Inuit birthright organizations; promote and facilitate cooperation on policy development, program delivery, shared service and management initiatives among federal departments, and with other potential partners.
