delayed fluorescence. Three types of delayed fluorescence are known : 1. E-type delayed fluorescence : The process in which the first excited singlet state becomes populated by a thermally activated radiationless transition from the first excited triplet state. Since in this case the populations of the singlet and triplet states are in thermal equilibrium, the lifetimes of delayed fluorescence and the concomitant phosphorescence are equal. 2. P-type delayed fluorescence : The process in which the first excited singlet state is populated by interaction of two molecules in the triplet state(triplet-triplet annihilation) thus producing one molecule in the excited singlet state. In this biphotonic process the lifetime of delayed fluorescence is half the value of the concomitant phosphorescence. 3. Recombination fluorescence : The first excited singlet state becomes populated by recombination of radical ions with electrons or by recombination of radical ions of opposite charge. 1, record 5, English, - delayed%20fluorescence

A molecule at room temperature normally resides in the ground state. The ground state is usually a singlet state... with all electrons paired. Electrons that occupy the same molecular orbital must be "paired", that is, have opposite spins. In a singlet state, the electrons are paired. If electrons have the same spin, they are "unpaired" and the molecule is in a triplet state. Singlet and triplet states refer to the multiplicity of the molecule.... The spacing of the vibrational levels and rotational levels in these higher electronic states gives rise to the absorption spectrum of the molecule. 4, record 6, English, - self%2Dabsorption

gimballed momentum wheel : Better attitude control and energy storage can be achieved by using a pair of counter-rotating micro wheels. This configuration enables micro-satellites to change their angular momentum and orientation with very little net change in stored energy. Likewise, energy can be extracted or added to a pair of wheels without changing the satellite's attitude. Power can be saved while using a regenerative brake state to decrease the speed, or this braking energy can be used to accelerate the other micro-wheel rotating in the opposite direction in a gimballed momentum wheel. Thus, it can sustain spacecraft with limited power during a short-term space mission. 2, record 9, English, - single%2Dgimballed%20momentum%20wheel

A monocyclic array of orbitals in which there is a single out-of-phase overlap(or, more generally, an odd number of out-of-phase overlaps) reveals the opposite pattern of aromatic character to Hückel systems; with 4n electrons it is stabilized(aromatic), whereas with 4n + 2 it is destabilized(antiaromatic). No examples of ground state Möbius systems are known, but the concept has been applied to transition states of pericyclic reactions. 1, record 18, English, - M%C3%B6bius%20aromaticity

1, record 18, French, - aromaticit%C3%A9%20de%20M%C3%B6bius
