A method... for breaking down coal by compressed air. Air at a pressure of 10, 000 to 12, 000 pounds per square inch is conveyed in a steel pipe to a tube or shell inserted in a shothole. The air is admitted by opening a shooting valve and is released in the hole by the rupture of a shear pin or disc. The sudden expansion of the air in the confined hole breaks down the coal. 3, record 2, English, - compressed%2Dair%20blasting

2, record 2, French, - tir%20%C3%A0%20l%27air%20comprim%C3%A9

Fluid-fluid heat exchanger made of two concentric pipe sections; one fluid (such as a coolant) flows in the annular space between pipes, and the other fluid (such as hot process stream) flows through the inner pipe. 1, record 3, English, - double%2Dpipe%20exchanger

The condenser is also a Model no. 06036 shell and tube exchanger, identical to the reboiler with a few modifications : The baffles have been cut at the bottom where they meet the shell to allow condensate to flow out of the shell. The tube side has four passes for maximum heat transfer on the tube side. It is mounted nearly horizontally. The inlet end is a couple of inches higher than the outlet to allow condensate to drain out the low end. A few tubes have been removed at the top to give the vapor more room to distribute itself along the length of the shell. There is a vent on the shell side near the outlet end to allow non-condensable gases to leave. The vent gases pass through the inside of a 36" double pipe condenser so that any condensable gasses will condense out and run down the walls back into the condenser. 2, record 3, English, - double%2Dpipe%20exchanger

Several original polymer families are to be launched at NPE. Perhaps the most impelling is aliphatic polyketone from Shell Chemical Co. [Stand S1323]. The products(tradename Carilon) are said to mold well, exhibiting superior mechanical and temperature-resistance performances and excellent part surface properties. They require no pre-drying. Material is viable in injection, blow and rotomolding, and pipe, sheet, and profile extrusion. 4, record 5, English, - aliphatic%20polyketone

[...] Premiers secteurs d'application visés : l'automobile, l'électrotechnique et l'électroménager. 1, record 5, French, - polyc%C3%A9tone%20aliphatique
