BREAK OVER. This occurs during that part of the stride when the limb is beginning to move forward and the anterior portion of the hoof leaves the ground. Break over point is that place on the ground surface of the dorsal wall and sole around which the limb rotates as the hoof leaves the ground. An unbalanced hoof, either because of incorrect trimming/shoeing, or hoof or limb pathologies, will not have the correct break over which leads to a host of problems, both actual and potential. During a period, the officials will designate specific 60-second spans(jams) during which designated skaters(jammers) from each team break away from the pack, circle the track, and attempt to lap opposing skaters to score points. Raise bore stoping test. A test will be excavated using a series of drilled raise bore holes for primary excavation. A small number of production blast holes may also be used to break the ground between raise holes. This stoping method will be evaluated as a means of narrow vein mining for vertically consistent ore zones. The trial stope will be excavated in early 1995 at the Eagle Point Mine, Rabbit Lake Operation. 1, record 22, English, - trial%20stope

Chromosome 5B of bread wheat is known to carry two major genes giving rise to genetic disorders. Nel for hybrid necrosis and Vg for winter variegation. Additionally, in many european winter wheat varieties this chromosome is represented in a translocated form, with 5BL-7BL, 5BL-7BS chromosomes rather than the normal 5B and 7B forms of the standard variety Chinese Spring. Genetic analysis has been carried out to map these genes and the translocation break point, and to investigate their pleiotropic effects or those of linked quantitative trait loci(qtl) for economically important characters... from an abstract found on Dialog. 2, record 23, English, - standard%20variety

... the functional parts of a typical nozzle.... The flow rate, spray angle, and pattern are directly related to the design of the tangential slots swirl chamber and orifice. In operation, a source of energy is needed to break up the oil into small droplets. Therefore, pressure is supplied to the nozzle from the oil pump.... However, pressure energy alone is not enough to do the job. It must be converted to velocity energy. This is accomplished by directing the pressurized fuel through a set of slots. These slots are cut in the distributor at an angle, or tangentially, to produce a high velocity rotation within the swirl chamber. At this point, about half of the pressure energy is converted to velocity energy. 3, record 26, English, - tangential%20slot
