BREAK OVER. This occurs during that part of the stride when the limb is beginning to move forward and the anterior portion of the hoof leaves the ground. Break over point is that place on the ground surface of the dorsal wall and sole around which the limb rotates as the hoof leaves the ground. An unbalanced hoof, either because of incorrect trimming/shoeing, or hoof or limb pathologies, will not have the correct break over which leads to a host of problems, both actual and potential. It is also important to note that proper heel support is a major player in this equation.

Roller Derby. A player who attempts to lap members of the opposite team to score points for his own team.

Roller Derby. A service mark used for an entertainment of roller speed skating that is conducted on a banked oval track approximately 200 feet around between 2 professional teams of 5 men or 5 women skaters. A match consists of eight 12-minute periods with men and women alternating periods on the track. ... the functional parts of a typical nozzle.... The flow rate, spray angle, and pattern are directly related to the design of the tangential slots swirl chamber and orifice. In operation, a source of energy is needed to break up the oil into small droplets. Therefore, pressure is supplied to the nozzle from the oil pump.... However, pressure energy alone is not enough to do the job. It must be converted to velocity energy. This is accomplished by directing the pressurized fuel through a set of slots. These slots are cut in the distributor at an angle, or tangentially, to produce a high velocity rotation within the swirl chamber. At this point, about half of the pressure energy is converted to velocity energy.
