Interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR) is a promising recent technique for the generation of digital elevation models and/or the measurement of ground surface deformations. In InSAR data processing, the first step is the image co-registration, achieved by using a set of tie points which are the conjugate image points on the master and slave images. Tie points are selected with the aim of finding the conjugate point automatically on the slave image for any given point on the master image, by the process known as image matching. To achieve reliable matching, a set of points within a window is used instead of a single point. The size of the window will affect the reliability of matching. Hitherto there have been no effective methods for the determination of optimum window size for this purpose. In practice, this parameter is determined by experience. 2, record 5, English, - image%20co%2Dregistration

The Working Group on Numerical Experimentation(WGNE), jointly established by the Joint Scientific Committee on the WCRP and the WMO Commission for Atmospheric Sciences(CAS) has the responsibility of fostering the development of atmospheric circulation models for use in weather prediction and climate studies on all time scales and diagnosing shortcomings. WGNE promotes co-ordinated numerical experimentation for validating model results, observed atmospheric properties, exploring the natural and forced variability and predictability of the atmosphere,(e. g the Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project, AMIP), as well as studies aimed at refined numerical techniques, and the formulation of atmospheric physics processes. WGNE also monitors the advances in data assimilation and analysis methods and is the focal point in WCRP for encouraging and reviewing the reanalysis projects carried out at various centres with fixed state-of-the-art assimilation systems providing a multi-year homogenous data set for a range of atmospheric and climate diagnostic studies. 2, record 10, English, - Working%20Group%20on%20Numerical%20Experimentation

Representative operating data for a six-effect set of evaporators are given in Table 10-1. As the solids content increases, so does the difference between the boiling liquor temperature and the condensing temperature of its associated vapor. This temperature difference(called the "boiling point rise") significantly reduces the available driving force for heat transfer in the higher-solids effects and is a major factor limiting the number of effects which are feasible in a set of evaporators. 1, record 14, English, - boiling%20point%20rise
