Trophic levels refer to a level or position in a food chain or food web. It is one of the oldest concepts in ecology that seeks to explain the energy relations between different organisms.... the bottom trophic level is known as the primary producers. These are usually plants like phytoplankton, algae, and seaweed. They can make their own food(usually photosynthesizing sugars from the sun), and do not need to consume other plants or animals. They are typically the most abundant organisms found in the ecosystem. 1, record 2, English, - primary%20producer

The intentional contamination of food poses significant challenges to regulators, food manufacturers, producers and distributors. There is potential for vulnerabilities at each stage of the food continuum. The detection of intentional contamination is further hindered when perpetrators choose to use contaminants not routinely tested for in food, thus preventing detection during routine surveillance. 1, record 5, English, - intentional%20contamination

Producers receive an initial payment when they deliver grain to a primary elevator. The level of this initial payment is set by the Canadian Government and is a government-guaranteed price to the producer. The initial payment for each pool account is usually set at what is regarded as a "safe" level and varies from year-to-year according to market conditions.... The net value of grain in each pool account is determined after all grain has been sold and all costs involved in marketing have been deducted. These costs include interest, insurance, storage, terminal elevators handling charges, and the Board's own operating costs. They do not include rail freight costs from primary elevators to terminals or primary elevator handling charges. These costs are deducted from producers’ initial payment when grain is delivered. 1, record 14, English, - producers%27%20initial%20payment

1, record 14, French, - acompte%20vers%C3%A9%20au%20producteur

What happens to the little triangle EIG? It is lost to everybody and represents "deadweight loss". Thus consumers lose more than the monopolist’s profit; and even if we took back the NEGN’ profit by lump sum taxation, we would be losing to the devil of inefficiency the "deadweight triangle" which benefits nobody. 1, record 15, English, - deadweight%20loss

A point on the operating characteristic curve corresponding to some predetermined and usually low probability of rejection. This probability of rejection is called the "producer's risk". In practical applications the producer's risk may be assigned a specified value(5%) and the corresponding lot quality is then used as a parameter for choosing a sampling plan. In other cases the lot quality may be specified, for example as an acceptable quality level or a process average, and the producer's risk will then be a variable quantity but of direct interest to the producer. 2, record 16, English, - producer%27s%20risk%20point

2, record 16, French, - point%20du%20risque%20du%20fournisseur
