Jet dyeing is a process that can be used for batch dyeing operations such as dyeing, bleaching, washing and rinsing. In this process, dyeing is accomplished in a closed tubular system, basically composed of an impeller pump and a shallow dye bath. The fabric to be dyed is loosely collapsed in a form of a rope, and tied into a loop. The impeller pump supplies a jet of dye solution, propelled by water and/or air, to force the fabric to move through the tube into the shallow bath. Turbulence created by the jet aids in dye penetration and prevents the fabric from touching the walls of the tube, thus minimizing mechanical impact on the fabric. 1, record 12, English, - jet%20dyeing

StratSat provides a geo-stationary platform at 20 km altitude capable of remaining on-station for up to five years. Payloads include high speed Internet services, direct broadcast TV, mobile telecommunication, etc. The envelope operates as a super-pressure hull(i. e. with no ballonet pressure control system). The hull will be of laminated fabric construction with Tedlar/Teflon, helium/weather barrier developed from AT-10/04. Multiple catenary curtain system supporting a payload module enclosed completely by the envelope. [The] payload module... comprises a single structural module with an externally mounted payload/mission system. The payload module provides a home for all of the airship's primary systems except for the propulsion system. The systems are close packed within the highly insulated module ensuring efficient heat and energy management. The payload module is pendulum stabilised within the envelope. The solar array provides the sole source of renewable energy for the airship. The array is placed over the upper quarter of the hull and extends over approximately three-quarters of the length of the craft. The array can be realigned to the daily sun location/angle by the roll rotation of the whole airship. The energy collected by the solar array is stored for use during the night in the series of batteries. Located in the stored for use during the night in a series of batteries. Located in the payload module, the batteries run the propulsion system, airship services and provide power to the mission system for up to 14 hours(during winter). The airship is propelled and steered by means of a ’Contra-Rotating Coned Rotor’ mounted on a tailcone at the rear of the envelope, as a part of a compound propulsion system. The unit provides longitudinal thrust(to counter the prevailing stratospheric winds) and lateral force(for manoeuvering) to enable the airship to hold station within a 1 km cube. The airship will be equipped with a multi-channel Flight Control Sy 7, record 46, English, - StratSat%C2%AE

Both the French and Spanish make much use of the anglicism "drive", albeit not in a correct fashion: In English "drive" is supposed to imply a ball hit with a lot of pace to win a point outright, regardless of the type of spin used to accomplish this task. Ion propulsion is a technology that involves ionizing a gas to propel a craft. Instead of a spacecraft being propelled with standard chemicals, the gas xenon(which is like neon or helium, but heavier) is given an electrical charge, or ionized. It is then electrically accelerated to a speed of about 30 km/second. When xenon ions are emitted at such high speed as exhaust from a spacecraft, they push the spacecraft in the opposite direction. 6, record 85, English, - ion%20propulsion

Alternative products and services currently exist and consumer selection will eventually influence market forces in the preferred direction. For example, fiberglass insulation, though not as efficient as polyurethane foam, can be used as a suitable substitute; egg containers do not require foamed plastics. Propane is currently used as a refrigerant in many recreational sites. Aerosol products, in many instances, are now propelled by hydrocarbons. However, these alternative products and services do incur a price to pay, be it efficiency, safety or simply consumer preference. 4, record 86, English, - alternative%20product

1, record 96, French, - laveuse%2Dessoreuse

From the milling separator, the grain passes to a gravity separator. This machine separates materials that may be similar in shape and size but that differ in specific gravity, such as wheat and small stones. Uncleaned wheat is "floated" on a metal screen which is oscillating rapidly. The grain moves down the sloping screen to the outlet while the stones are propelled toward the head of the screen by the oscillating movement, and collected separately. Although only a very small percentage of stones may be present, their removal is important since they cause extensive damage to processing machinery. Also, if they are ground along with the wheat, the undesirable fine mineral matter will end up in the flour. 1, record 97, English, - gravity%20separator

1, record 97, French, - s%C3%A9parateur%2Daspirateur
