Incidents that fall within the "may" aspects of this definition are anticipatory and as such must be assessed against the criteria :"is it possible that the incident will create public interest and form the subject of question to NDHQ or Ministers? In the DSM-IV(Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), Ganser's Syndrome is classified as an atypical type of dissociative disorder, related to conditions such as conversion disorder and multiple personality disorder. Ganser's syndrome is an uncommon disorder originally described in prison populations, and was sometimes termed prison psychosis by early clinicians. It is sometimes referred to as "the syndrome of approximate answers, "since individuals with Ganser's usually reply to questions by giving an answer that is slightly off. It is clear that the problem does not involve low IQ, and is not necessarily a form of psychosis. However, patients may exhibit visual hallucinations and apparent clouding of consciousness, raising the question of some neurological condition. A trust-management system helps applications answer questions of the form, "does this potentially dangerous operation conform to my security policy?" Typically, the correct answer to such a question depends on what the operation is, who's asking for it to be performed, the local security policy, the requester's credentials, and other factors. Trust-management systems provide applications with a standard interface for getting answers to such questions, and provide users with a standard language for writing the policies and credentials that control what is allowed and what isn’t. 1, record 16, English, - trust%20management%20system

TV Quiz Games. These instructional games take the form of an ordinary television quiz game. Typical of these is "Meet the Presidents. "Here, the student is given clues about the identity of a president of the United States and must guess who it is. The clues come in two forms. First, a detailed computer picture of the president in question slowly appears on the screen. Second, as this happens, clues as to his identity are flashed at the bottom of the screen. At any time the player may type in a guess. The sooner the correct name is entered, the higher the number of points awarded. 1, record 20, English, - television%20quiz%20game

The first application of Skinner's research to the classroom situation came in the form of linear programmed learning. In this type of programmed learning, the subject matter is broken down into a sequence of small steps... logically following upon one another. Each of the steps represents only a very small part of the concept or skill to be taught.... each step contains a certain amount of information and requires the student to respond to a question about the information, while the small size of the step practically guarantees the correctness of the desired response. 2, record 23, English, - small%20step

It is a much disputed question in the teaching of legal authorities and in the jurisprudence of the principal countries whether the doctrine of litispendance, the object of which is to prevent the possibility of conflicting judgments, can be invoked in international relations, in the sense that the judges of one State should, in the absence of a treaty, refuse to entertain any suit already pending before the courts of another State, exactly as they would be found to do if an action on the same subject had at some previous time been brought in due form before another court of their own country. 1, record 24, English, - litispendance

The franchise is only one form among many of the commercial concession, and its originality lies more in the terminology used by the parties than in the structure and purpose of the franchise contract. Commercial concessions in the form of distribution agreements are developed as energetically as franchises in fields where the manufacturer's products have distinctive brand names. Like franchise holders, distributors are given exclusive rights of distribution for a specific product or range of products, and undertake the same obligations to promote the products and to attain specified sales targets. In return distributors, like franchise holders, receive assistance from the manufacturer in organising sales and accompanying services, including technical "know how". The idea that a distributor should have an exclusive territory for the sale of the manufacturer's products is characteristic of commercial concessions, rather than franchises, but this idea has lately tended to give way to the more flexible concept of the distributor's zone of principal responsibility. As in the case of the franchise, this refers not so much to a particular geographical area as to the customers who are to be attracted to buying the products in question. 1, record 25, English, - commercial%20concession

1, record 25, French, - concession%20commerciale
