1, record 14, French, - Property%20Predictive%20Software

In statistics, regression analysis is a method for explanation of phenomena and prediction of future events. In the regression analysis, a coefficient of correlation r between random variables X and Y is a quantitative index of association between these two variables. In its squared form, as a coefficient of determination r 2, indicates the amount of variance in the criterion variable Y that is accounted for by the variation in the predictor variable X. In the multiple regression analysis, the set of predictor variables X1, X2,... is used to explain variability of the criterion variable Y. A multivariate counterpart of the coefficient of determination r 2 is the coefficient of multiple determination, R 2. Signal-to-noise ratio: A quantitative measure of the statistical detectability of a signal, expressed as a ratio of the magnitude of the signal relative to the variability. For first detection of a CO2-induced climate change, the model signal is the mean change or anomaly in some climatic variable, usually surface air temperature, attributed by a numerical model to increased concentrations of carbon dioxide. Observed noise is the standard deviation or natural variability computed from observations of that variable and adjusted for sample size, autocorrelation, and time averaging. 2, record 27, English, - noise%20level

A close link between tRNA gene redundancy and the overall amino acid composition of yeast proteins was also observed. Regression analysis values for individual protein coding sequences proved to be effective descriptors of the translational selective pressure operating on a particular gene. A significantly stronger co-adaptation between codon choice and tRNA gene copy number was observed in highly expressed genes. These observations strongly support the notion that intracellular tRNA levels in normally growing yeast cells are mainly determined by gene copy number, which, along with codon choice, is the key parameter acted upon by translational selection. 1, record 32, English, - gene%20redundancy

In describing a model or hypothesis, refers to the ability to describe, explain or be applied to a large number of phenomena. Sometimes a theory may be too powerful in the sense that it is applicable to a wider range of phenomena than that intended, or that it extends certain theoretical deductions to cases where they have been precluded by empirical observation. 2, record 47, English, - powerful

Having now set the salary plan structure, dollars paid can be compared to evaluation points or levels for each respective job, commonly called a scattergram. From this data internal trend line can be established. There are many ways to obtain a line of central tendency ranging from simply "eyeballing" the data and drawing a line, through to, computer aided regression analysis to produce a "line of best fit". In all instances seriously erractic values are excluded as there normally is a reason for their existence which may or may not be valid. 1, record 48, English, - internal%20trend%20line
