Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The discharge from the float trap is generally continuous. This type is used for draining condensate from steam headers, steam heating coils, and other similar equipment. When a float trap is used for draining a low pressure steam system, it should be equipped with a thermostatic air vent. 3, record 2, English, - float%20trap
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
When enough condensate has drained(by gravity) into the trap body, the float is lifted which in turn lifts the pin off its seat and permits the condensate to flow into the return until the float has been sufficiently lowered to close the port. Temperature does not affect the operation of a float trap. 2, record 2, English, - float%20trap

Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Mechanical Atomizers : In the mechanical atomizer, the pressure of the fuel itself is used as the means for atomization. Mechanical atomizers are available in sizes up to 180 million Btu/hr input, about 10, 000 lb of oil per hr. The acceptable operating range may be as much as ten to one or as little as three to one, depending on the maximum oil pressure used for the system, the furnace configuration, air temperature, and burner throat velocity. Return flow atomizers are ideally suited for standard grades of fuel oil where it is desired to meet load variations without changing sprayer plates or cutting burners in and out of service. 4, record 3, English, - mechanical%20atomizer

Dr. Karl Clark, a scientist working for the Alberta Research Council, developed and patented the hot water extraction technique... Oil sand is mixed with hot water creating a slurry. Early methods used large tumbler drums to condition the slurry. Today, hydrotransport pipelines are used to condition and transport the oil sand from the mine to the extraction plant. The slurry is fed into a separation vessel where it separates into three layers-sand, water and bitumen. The bitumen is then skimmed off the top to be cleaned and processed further. Secondary recoveries are made with the middlings zone of the separation vessels to return the smaller quantities of bitumen that would otherwise flow to the settling ponds. Ph levels and temperature are key variables in the process. 2, record 4, English, - hot%20water%20extraction%20process

2, record 4, French, - proc%C3%A9d%C3%A9%20d%27extraction%20%C3%A0%20l%27eau%20chaude

Thermal Management. A moderate-temperature water loop is provided via a 1. 3 cm(0. 5 in) line with a quick-disconnect to each ISPR [International Standard Payload Rack] at an inlet temperature range of 16-24°C(61-75°F). The water is circulated through heat exchangers and stainless steel cold plates to allow thermal conditioning of the internal payload hardware. The water flow is controlled within the U. S. Lab and the JEM [Japanese Experiment Module] to optimize the heat rejection efficiencies of the system. The maximum return water temperature is 49°C(120°F). Inside a payload rack, an avionics air/heat exchanger assembly can be connected to the loop to remove up to 1200 W by circulating air. 2, record 5, English, - moderate%2Dtemperature%20water%20loop
