A decision tree diagram is a graphical representation of decisions [that] includes the potential consequences of those decisions. A decision tree consists of nodes, branches, root nodes, and leaf nodes. Each node represents a decision made, or a test conducted on a specific attribute. Each branch represents the possible results or consequences of each decision. The root node is the starting point, which represents the first decision made. The leaf nodes represent the final results or conclusions. 2, record 2, English, - decision%20tree%20diagram

When a tree seed germinates, the first(primary) root grows down in the soil in response to gravity. Secondary roots then branch off horizontally, with subsequent branching into tertiary roots, etc. Absorption of water and mineral nutrients is the function of the very fine, non-woody roots(the feeder roots). With continued growth, each root will lose its ability for absorption. These larger woody roots then function as the transport system for water and nutrients from the new feeder roots to the stem. They are also the tree's system of anchorage and a food storage area. The resulting system thus consists of several main transport roots that extend radically and horizontally from the tree base and divide into ever smaller roots, each ending in a dense mass of fine feeder roots. 2, record 3, English, - feeder%20roots

Agricultural production is dependent, in part, on the cycling of nitrogen within the rural environment.... Before nitrogen can be used by plants, it must be converted into forms that are available to plants; this conversion is called mineralization. The plants take up these mineral forms through their root systems and form plant proteins and other organic forms of nitrogen. Livestock eat crops and produce manure, which is returned to the soil, adding organic and mineral forms of nitrogen to the soil, which can be used again by the next crop. 2, record 12, English, - return%20to%20soil

3, record 19, French, - l%C3%A9gume%2Dracine

Agglomerative hierachy clustering algorithm. This is the most common type of hierarchical clustering algorithm. It's used to group objects in clusters based on how similar they are to each other. This is a form of bottom-up clustering, where each data point is assigned to its own cluster. Then those clusters get joined together. At each iteration, similar clusters are merged until all of the data points are part of one big root cluster. 1, record 21, English, - agglomerative%20hierarchy%20clustering%20algorithm

The RMSSD is the root mean square of successive differences between normal heartbeats. This value is obtained by first calculating each successive time difference between heartbeats in milliseconds. Each of the values is then squared and the result is averaged before the square root of the total is obtained. The RMSSD reflects the beat-to-beat variance in HR [heart rate] and is the primary time domain measure used to estimate the vagally mediated changes reflected in HRV [heart rate variability]. 4, record 59, English, - root%20mean%20square%20of%20successive%20differences%20between%20normal%20heartbeats

A standard medical approach, indeed a common lay-person's approach, to thinking about disability involves viewing it as a problem that exists in a person's body. As a consequence, that individual is thought to require treatment or care to fix the disability, to approximate normal functioning, or perhaps as a last measure, to help the individual adapt and learn to function despite the disability. So construed, disability is primarily an individual' s medical problem in need of treatment.... this medical model of disability holds that "a person's functional limitations(impairments) are the root cause of any disadvantages experienced and these disadvantages can therefore only be rectified by treatment or cure. No-dig gardening is a method that aims for minimal disturbance of the soil, so that the natural processes can be preserved. This allows the natural organisms to thrive, increasing the soil' s overall health and therefore that of your plants. An example of these organisms is mycorrhizal fungus, which forms a mutualistic relationship with plants and aid in root growth. Digging your garden can break up the fungal threads in the soil, meaning that your plants don’t benefit from these helpful organisms. No-dig gardening allows natural relationships between organisms to flourish and preserves the overall structure of the soil, leading to improved plant growth. 1, record 71, English, - no%2Ddig%20gardening

Rhizodegradation ... is a much slower process than phytodegradation. Microorganisms (yeast, fungi, or bacteria) consume and digest organic substances for nutrition and energy. Certain microorganisms can digest organic substances such as fuels or solvents that are hazardous to humans and break them down into harmless products through biodegradation. Natural substances released by the plant roots -sugars, alcohols, and acids- contain organic carbon that provides food for soil microorganisms, and the additional nutrients enhance their activity. 3, record 74, English, - rhizodegradation

Routine dental care is important due to the unique structure and function of horses’ teeth. Horses have a combination of brachydont and hypsodont teeth. The simple(brachydont) teeth are the first premolars(wolf tooth) and canines that have a distinct crown and root, but have no function for the domestic horse. The incisors and molars(cheek teeth) are hypsodont, like the molars of ruminants(cows, goats and sheep etc). This type of tooth has a large body that continues to erupt into the horse's mouth as they are worn down by fibrous feed material. Most of the tooth is below the gum line in younger horses and continues to develop as it enters the mouth. 3, record 95, English, - hypsodont

Furs of the deer family can suffer from hair slippage, which is caused by the loosening of the hair root anchoring system. The exact cause is not well understood, and it is not possible to detect which skin is likely to suffer from this over time or to prevent it from happening. Any handling or movement should be minimized to prevent losses or further dislodging of the hairs. 2, record 97, English, - hair%20slippage
