A member of the family Curculionidae (Coleoptera) which causes serious damage in conifer seedlings and saplings, forest regeneration and Christmas tree plantations.

Terminal weevils are usually grouped according to their mode of injury :(a) seedling-debarking weevils(pales weevils, pitch-eating weevils),(b) pine reproduction weevils,(c) root collar weevils(pine root collar weevil, Warren's collar weevil), and(d) terminal weevil(white pine weevil).
