Ochratoxin A(OTA) is a toxic metabolite formed by Aspergillus ochraceus, Penicillium verrucosum and other mould species. It is one of the most commonly occurring mycotoxins in improperly stored food. OTA has been found in corn, peanuts and decaying vegetation. It has also been found in mouldy cereals such as wheat, rye, barley, oats, and other commodities, including bread, flour, beans, peas, rice, and coffee and in samples of meat where the slaughtered animal may have consumed feed contaminated with OTA. 2, record 1, English, - ochratoxin%20A

The feeding of rye low in extract viscosity has been shown to reduce gut viscosity in chicks, thus increasing feeding efficiency. The objective of this research project is to evaluate fall rye with reduced extract viscosity for improved feed efficiency in swine diets and to continue to select for decreased extract viscosity in fall rye populations. 3, record 4, English, - extract%20viscosity

2, record 4, French, - viscosit%C3%A9%20de%20l%27extrait
