The term "Warm Edge Technology"(WET) was introduced after the development of insulated spacer bars, which are intended to improve the thermal performance of the edge of sealed insulating glass(IG) units. WET focuses on an area of the glass that extends about 63 mm above the sight line of the IG perimeter. From the viewpoint of thermal performance, WET aims to add more resistance to heat flow from the warm side to the cold side of the glazing, thereby enhancing both the condensation resistance and the thermal resistance of the unit. 1, record 3, English, - warm%20edge%20technology

2, record 3, French, - technologie%20des%20bordures%20chaudes

Modul Couped Sash Windows have been designed to offer the highest levels of acoustic performance without recourse to expensive special glass or gasfilled sealed units. The most efficient and cost-effective way of achieving good noise insulation lies in the introduction of a large air void between inner and outer glazing panes. Modul windows achieve an air gap of typically 55mm to 85mm between the inner and outer sashes and this expanse permits sound reduction levels of up to Rw 45dB to be met using only standard 6mm and 4mm panes of glass. 2, record 5, English, - acoustic%20performance

2, record 5, French, - performance%20acoustique
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Performance acoustique. 3, record 5, French, - performance%20acoustique
