A small-diameter(2-4 in), removable pipe, set and sealed in a well inside a large-diameter casing placed in a producing horizon, through which oil and gas are produced(brought to the surface from the reservoir). 9, record 1, English, - tubing
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
When oil is found, the drilling stops. The bit and string are pulled out of the hole, and a pipe called a production casing is put into the hole and cemented in place. Another pipe, called tubing, is put inside the casing. The oil will be pumped through the tubing, which is connected to valves on a Christmas tree. 10, record 1, English, - tubing
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Production tubing is steel pipe smaller in diameter than the production casing. It is lowered into the casing and held in place by packers which also isolate the producing layers of rocks. 11, record 1, English, - tubing

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
5, record 1, French, - tubing
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 3 CONT
9, record 1, French, - tubing

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Achievements in doctor blade technology have resulted in high quality flexographic printing and pollution prevention through controlled ink transfer from the ink container to the substrate. The average two-roll system with its ink fountain, fountain roller and anilox roll is a veritable open reservoir, exposing large quantities of solvents that are readily evaporated. The chambered doctor blade halts this evaporation. Ink enters the chamber from the reservoir or ink sump by a pump. The ink is held in the manifold area, with a small area exposed to the anilox roll. A doctor blade is positioned to shear off the excess ink as the anilox turns, returning all extra ink to the chamber. A second plastic or metal blade retains the ink within the chamber. The chamber is sealed off completely so that no ink goes beyond the width of the unit. 3, record 2, English, - chambered%20doctor%20blade

The basic construction of a cistern barometer is as follows : A glass tube 1 m in length, sealed at one end, is filled with mercury, and then inverted. The tube is mounted so that its mouth penetrates the upper surface of a reservoir of mercury called the cistern of the barometer. Cistern barometers are classified according to whether the cistern is fixed in volume(see Kew barometer) or variable in volume(see Fortin barometer). 1, record 3, English, - cistern%20barometer
