Perma Ice Icing-1 Quart. Magic Line Perma Ice® is ideal icing for decorating dummy cakes, show cakes, ice cream displays and more. It is a non-edible, artificial icing specially formulated for creating beautiful display cakes. It looks exactly like ice cream if you use an ice cream dipper(tint a bit off white with paint set number 35-550 or acrylic paint). It may be thinned with water to appear as a milk shake, ice cream topping, etc. Slowly whip Perma Ice, then put in a pastry bag with a large star tip. Pipe on artificial sundae or milkshake to look like whip cream. Roll Perma Ice into a ball, paint red with acrylic paint when dry and when that dries, put on the fake Perma Ice "whipped cream" to look like a cherry.

Line rockets. Also known as "grid rockets," these are small whistling rockets that run along a steel cable. The cable must be securely fastened at each end, and is usually up to 50 metres in length. The Line Rocket is attached to the line by a plastic tube, and takes between 2 and 4 seconds to travel the 50 metres. [Text accompanied by an illustration.]

The Line Rocket by itself is a great effect--it whizzes along the line at high speed with a terrific whistling noise.... The possible uses for a Line Rocket effect are almost limitless.... Some examples are in order : At the beginning of a concert, you want an effect that will start the show with a "bang. A variation of the VASIS called the T-VASIS is installed at a few airports. It eliminates the requirement to discriminate colour except in a dangerously low approach when the lights will appear red. The T-VASIS installation consists of 10 lights on each side of the runway; 3 lights in a row parallel to the runway, 4 lights in a bar at right angles to the runway and another 3 lights in a line beyond the bar. On the proper approach slope, only the bar of 4 lights is visible. On a too high approach, the 3 upwind lights also are visible producing an inverted T. On a too low approach, the 3 lights downwind of the bar combine with the bar lights to show an upright T.
