One side is left-hand threaded and the other is right-hand threaded, so riggers can turn the metal frame to push apart and pull together the threaded bolts. These threaded bolts come with a wide variety of end fittings and attachments including jaws, eyes, clevises, hooks and many more. … hydrodynamic effect means the result of water in motion. On vessels of any size, but especially on large vessels, as the boat moves through the water the friction of the water on the bow and on the hull causes the water to create turbulence. This turbulence, as the force of the water moves toward the stern(back) of the boat, tends to pull floating objects into the side of the boat. 1, record 6, English, - hydrodynamic%20effect

Overflows... have been designed for delicate knitted and woven fabrics made of natural and synthetic fibres. They are also found in the carpet sector. The main difference between jet and overflow machines remains in the fact that in jet machines the fabric is transported by the bath flowing at high speed through the nozzle, while with overflows the fabric is transported by the gravitational force of the liquor overflow. A winch(usually not motor driven) is located in the upper part of the machine and the fabric hangs over it. A longer length of textile hangs from the exit side of the winch than from the inlet side. Gravitational forces pull the longer length of textile downward more strongly than the shorter. The fabric is therefore soaked in the bath without any tension(transportation is very gentle). 1, record 11, English, - overflow%20machine

With one foot well forward, the average belayer can hold 200 pounds from below, but less than half as much with a pull to the side or with the feet together. Belaying a leader from a standing position... is extremely weak if the pull is forward. The first type of precision airdrop is a single system called AGAS(Affordable Guided Airdrop System) that uses in-service round cargo parachutes. A detailed knowledge of the wind patterns at the drop location is used to calculate the required flight path and drop point. The flight path is maintained by the system's ability to pull slips which dump air from one side of the canopy. By incorporating wind data with this limited method of steering, the system has proven capable of landing an average of 48 meters away from the intended grid reference when deployed from 13 000 ft above ground level. This accuracy is phenomenal given that the present LF freefall cylinder rarely even hits a large drop zone when deployed from 5, 000 feet above ground evel(AGL). AGAS is the cheapest precision airdrop system presently available. 2, record 14, English, - affordable%20guided%20airdrop%20system

1, record 14, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20peu%20co%C3%BBteux%20de%20largage%20de%20pr%C3%A9cision

... two tightly integrated investigations study the human vestibular system outside of Earth's gravity. On Neurolab, crewmembers acting as both operators and subjects use an off-axis rotator("rotating chair") developed by the European Space Agency(ESA) to stimulate the human vestibular system with both spinning and tilting sensations.... On the rotating chair, a constant rotation while in space(i. e., without Earth's gravity pull) stimulates the inner ear the same way tilting to one side does in Earth's gravity. So, while rotating seated, the crewmembers experience not rotation, but tilt. 3, record 15, English, - rotating%20chair
