Environment Canada developed a Severe Thunderstorm Watch/Warning Program across Canada to ensure the safety and well-being of all Canadians. The purpose of this program is to deliver Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Watch/Warning Bulletins. These bulletins are designed to provide as much advance warning as possible of hazardous thunderstorm activity and tornadoes.
