Chilling injury on crops that do not tolerate long exposure to temperatures in the range of 0-15 °C are less noticeable. Most chilling sensitive crops are of tropical or subtropical origin. For example, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, pumpkins, summer squash, sweet potato, banana, etc. Some temperate crops may also be sensitive. For example, asparagus, potato, some apple varieties, peaches, etc. Critical temperatures for these crops range from 0-5 °C, while those of tropical origin are from 7-15 °C. 1, record 1, English, - critical%20temperature

The Köppen Climate Classification System is the most widely used system for classifying the world’s climates. ... The Köppen system recognizes five major climatic types; each type is designated by a capital letter. A. Tropical Moist Climates: all months have average temperatures above 18 degrees Celsius. B. Dry Climates: with deficient precipitation during most of the year. C. Moist Mid-latitude Climates with Mild Winters. D. Moist Mid-Latitude Climates with Cold Winters. 4, record 72, French, - classification%20climatique%20de%20K%C3%B6ppen

It is evident that the mountains situated in the tropics have an almost equinoctial yearly sun pattern, whilst in the upper temperate and boreal zones the day span varies widely throughout the year. 1, record 78, French, - cycle%20quotidien%20de%20temp%C3%A9rature

Take-all patch, formerly known as Ophiobolus patch and sometimes called Gaeumannomyces patch, occurs in most cool temperate regions. The disease is often confined to Agrostis spp. growing on poorly drained, wet soils or on soils that have recently been limed heavily, but the pathogen may also affect other turfgrass species. At first, the small, light brown dead patches may resemble those of Gerlachia patch, but take-all patch continues to spread throughout the year... 1, record 79, English, - take%2Dall%20patch
