Cupping is one of the coffee tasting techniques used by cuppers to evaluate coffee aroma and the flavor profile of a coffee.... In a coffee cupping session, the table is usually set up with 6 to 10 cups per coffee. These are fashioned in a triangular manner. At the top of this triangle you should place a sample of the roasted coffee and a sample of the green coffee. In the center of the table place a cup of room temperature water and an empty cup containing the cupping spoons. Cover both the green sample and roasted sample until the cupping session is over and the coffee aroma, fragrance, and flavor profile have been documented. After this time, the coffee samples could be uncovered and additional comments can be written based on appearance. The Aircraft to Satellite Data Relay(ASDAR) programme is sponsored by an International meteorological group in order to augment the collection of upper air meteorological data, and thereby improve the accuracy of global weather forescasting. It has been developed by Matra Marconi Space, UK in collaboration with the WMO to enable aircraft to generate and transmit real-time meteorological reports via geostationary meteorological satellites for global relay. It is an automated system offering significant advantages, including reduced crew responsibility delays and errors. ASDAR, operating in conjunction with meteorological satellites, has proved to be a versatile tool in obtaining meteorological data automatically from flights over both oceans and continents, especially over areas not serviced by meteorological stations. In addition, during the ascent and descent phases of the aircraft, observations at regular pressure intervals provide a detailed vertical atmospheric temperature profile near the airports. A radiosonde carried by a balloon rising at a few meters per second does not measure such inversions accurately because the response time of the thermistor is several seconds. To quantify this error, we flew a radiosonde on a tethered kite on several occasions in winter at South Pole Station immediately prior to the routine launch of the same sonde on a weather balloon. In all cases, the equilibrated temperatures measured by the tethered sonde at a given pressure level were higher than those from the balloon-borne sonde throughout most of the inversion layer. Making global measurements of ocean temperature and salinity(T-S) quickly and easily accessible to users is the primary goal of the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Program(GTSPP). Flash Calcining. Flash or gas suspension calcining is a recent development, and at least two manufacturers are promoting this technology as another alternative for pulp mill lime reburning. Fuller, for example, has over 25 flash calcining systems in operation on a variety of materials. The heart of the system is a swirl-type furnace in which the combustion of fuel is in intimate contact with the material being calcined.
