Latest version : The 2009 Prohibited List International Standard. The List was first published in 1963 by the International Olympic Committee. Since 2004, as mandated by the World Anti-Doping Code(Code), the World Anti-Doping Agency(WADA) is responsible for its preparation and publication. It is an International Standard identifying Substances and Methods prohibited in-competition, out-of-competition, and in particular sports. They are classified by categories(e. g., steroids, stimulants, gene doping). Athletes need to complete a Therapeutic Use Exemption(TUE) application form and have it signed by their National Paralympic Committee(NPC) and a doctor.
